Given Vetline’s central role in the pork value chain of Uganda, they were invited to collaborate on the More Pork Project funded by the International Livestock Research Institute, collaboration with Makerere Universities College of Agricultural and Environmental Science. The object of this project was to sensitise farmers in Wakiso, Mukono and Mpigi and Masaka districts on genetic improvements and community bases artificial insemination as well as Swine fever control.
